SciFi and Fantasy Art The Traveler by Mark Ivan Cole

He has traveled for many miles, and he always says he has many miles to go. On his back he carries an empty basket, yet he never passes anyone on the road without giving him food and drink or a warm blanket to ward off the chill. When the astonished recipients ask if he is a wizard, he just smiles and shrugs. He calls himself only "the traveler." If you meet him on the path in some remote mountain range, tell him that I still have the empty basket that he gave me, and that it goes to good use whenever I meet another traveler in need.
