What I think of Art Well Art is quite a broad issue isnt it? Okay but im here to express
ART IS WHATEVER YOU CAN GET AWAY WITH!
Never forget that, Art is ultimate freedom. There are good works of art, and there are bad works of art but both are art and both have something to say. However you have to understand a bad piece of art doesnt mean that it's a failure, in fact it might even be considered a success. How? I dont know and i dont care but it's a fact and a fact that need'nt apply for every single piece of art but it does for some and that's all it matters. Also i dont pay much attention to proportions or if anything 'looks in place' or 'right', i dont think that's what art is about. Also im not good at following rules or taking reasons into account during art making or what not. Sometimes it is necassary but it's not my main focus. So i tend to like art that is odd looking or weird, but that doesnt mean i dont equally enjoy other forms of art. At the end of the day, art is how you think it is, just like Life. It's a broad concept, such as Life. Does Life imitate Art? Sometimes. Does Art imitate Life? Only when there's something holding it back. If you ever take a hard look at the world and the bodies that evolve around it, you'd realize that the really cool stuff that stands out or pop ups from the heap of normal, mundane and boring stuff are the unique things. It's doesnt have to be special it just has to be different, i say. Developing a personal style in art is kinda like developing your identity in life, both require persistence and that personal touch. Have a look at all the successful people in the world, most are successful because they're unique - especially in the field of art. Being unique, doesnt mean that you have to be crazy or insane. Sure that would make you unique but that would also render you also useless in artmaking, well for most people anyway. A better way to achieve that personal style is to reprogram your thinking. If you believe your style isnt what you like it to be or isnt what you think it should then seriously consider reprogramming your mind. Your mind is your ultimate master, and all things put forth by you are through your mind. Train your mind to innovate, not imitate others. Keep practicing until you break or go pyscho - nah just joking hahah. But practice is important, in fact put that second to thinking power. Experience will be your ultimate guide. Another reason why practice is vital - it develops your intuitive senses. I believe it's better to go with your gut feeling in art then it is following what you've been taught to do. Sure education is just as vital but then if you followed all the rules and reasons, what will set you apart from everyone else? Inituition is self developed and is something that cant be taken away, keep practicing and the one amazed the most will be yourself - and all the more better for it, dont ya think? If anyone tries to stop you, KICK THEIR ASS! Life is about kicking ass anyway, so the better you do it, the better you'll be off. Believe in yourself and you shall become. The sky's not the limit, your imagination is. So dont let anyone destroy it! Dont get discouraged and dont get lazy <-- yeah i know that's hard but please TRY!
