This is an experiment for me, working with a variety of different pencils instead of just the one tech-pencil. I have gone through every pencil, from H to B7! Also, I tried to give the various elements their own value, having the woman in the front and the statue of the “angel” in the back. It was a fun experiment. Anyway, this is another drawing of Onaia, the Necromancer. Thanks Terrance, for the costume idea… and other attributes ;) H to B7 Graphite Pencils on A-4 Drawing Paper.

Incredible picture. The use of the different pencils really help set the perspective in your work.It really brings the main character right to the front of the picture and sets the background apart.Great work, you are the master!!

I just love the expression on the brute-thug-monster-giant thing beside her. He looks CUTE in a bisare kinda way.

That is a very interesting technique. Even though the woman is so obvious and dark colored. Stil the lightly sketched figures in the back are stil as obvious and demanding to be seen.

What a great atmosphere! Her feathers look so soft and real. The misty effect makes it kind of spookey ^^ The other figures in the background really do demand the attention of the viewer, the composition as a whole is incredible!! Not that we expect anything less from you Mark!

Very cool Goldfine! It has that "Goldfine-esque" feel to it that I like so much. Great sense of depth to it too. You are the man 2

Beautiful, all four of them, you're truly good with shades of gray.

Hello. I wouldsay Icommented this before, but i could no see the comment. This is great. I love the lightly shaded background and beings. But surely the nicest thing is the woman in front. Perfect pose, face, clothes. Nicely used white of a paper.
