Avoiding the striking tentacles of the Dolgaunt with a dancers grace, movement in the corner of her eye caught the elf's attention. The shifter that had been firing the arrows at the monstrosities was moving with great speed across the snow, towards them and the toppled Lightning Rail. The Dolgaunt swung at her again and the War-forged bodyguard moved to intercept. In that very moment, the shifter leapt with the grace of a great cat up on the war-forged's back, using him as a springboard to get to the top of the Lightning Rail wagon’s roof; where another foe was waiting.  ::Event illustration. Another great piece of art - I like the ladys bodeguard more and more, every time I see him ;-) Bravo!

1 Mark Andrew Goldfine replies: "Thank you, Gabriele 2 Yes, the Bodyguard was great fun to draw and design. And, it was nice to get an "action" pic up here as well 12"

I love Eberron and that is a great picture of a warforged.

1 Mark Andrew Goldfine replies: "Thanks, Mark 2 Yes, Eberron is really a first class D&D setting, and I think it might be my favorite. As for the Warforged, I didn't know much about them when I drew this one. I had barely glanced the cover of the setting book. I am just glad I managed to make him more or less true to the warforged, designed by the marvelous artists at WotC 2"

Very nice. Love the shifter, he looks suitably dangerous. The depth in this one is fantastic Goldfine.

13 Mark Andrew Goldfine replies: "Thank's, Martin. If you like this shifter, you might like the one that's on it's way even more *gets an evil look on his face* hehehe"

Mark! I'm almost speechless! This has got to be one of your most eye-catching and exciting works to date. The texture and depth in this is just to die for and as always your shading just amazes the hell out of me. Great job Mark!!!

1 Mark Andrew Goldfine replies: "Thank you, Lloyd 2 THe scan didn't pick up on the lighter shading on this piece, and I didn't notice I was using an H lead on it, before I was way into the finishing stages of the picture. I have my mech pencils marked now 12"

How is it possible to get so much expression into Porter? You are very good at capturing the perfect moment of action. I tip my hat to you.
