I used to live in a lace that was surrounded by man made forest of pine radiata. (really bad for allergies) so that mentalitry had stuck. It does fit with the whole general them of my work though. Other reasons it may look artificial, that is my first rendered forest, and i think it came of slightly under par, than the rest of the work for sure. hrug: ..thank you very much for commenting Paul...Marley"

They can help to enhance the piece or they can distract from it. Unfortunately, the stand of trees greatly distract from this piece. When the trees are blocked out, this is a gorgeous piece. But the trees, though a good concept, diminish the effectiveness of the overall look. This does not mean that you should not do trees. On the contrary, you should practice and developed a technique for rendering different types of trees. I may be able to help with that if you want someone to give you feedback on your practice pieces. Marley Mcleay replies: "Hey Tony, yea another spot on observation, thanks very much for taking the time..And you are right. I had found at that time, my ability to render different objects into a scene was quite limited..My technique wasn't Dynamic enough and very time consuming..I am to this day still trying to figure a successful technique to go by..There was no reference for these save my memory of the awfull Pine Radiata we have up along the marine parade beachfront, back in my old home town..Cheers very much For the offer aswell, Tony, I shall keep that in mind...though i am not due to illustrate a tree for some time.. ..Marley"
