Realism is still my first love, but I’ve gotten into some really abstract stuff over the last year or so--along the lines of "Beady Eyes One" in my EW gallery. But I started an oil painting in January--2’x3’, huge for my standards. Haven’t worked on it in months, but am starting to get the itch again. The background is done, and now I need to work on the female subject in the foreground. I think I’m scared and that’s what’s been holding me up--afraid I’ve lost my touch.
