Maybe it was the necklace... I love it though. Great use of shadow on her body. And people we tan so we get tan lines. Every one has tan lines! I have tan lines... (really pale ones cos I'm from England, more of sort of less blue bits) My favorite in your galley I think. | |

| 30 Nov 2006 | Future billionaire | Loading...Obviously your skill with the mouse is impecable, you really know how to use one and their is nothing wrong with using a reference, Leonardo da Vinci did. But there is one complaint I just have to get out there: a voluptuous naked blonde woman in chains running away from a male captor...sad and cliche. I'm sorry. I in no way at all mean to offend you but the first impression I get is that the idea is kind of tacky. I am not bashing your skill at all though, I could never in a million years do what you can do with a mouse and you draw better from a reference than most people can, but the idea is simply not very cool. I mean maybe you could draw something the other way around? Maybe a man running from a woman (don't laugh) or a woman standing up for herself instead of being afraid. Also the blonde tanness...c'mon, and the big boobs and flat stomach...No. I know that your imagination is not this limited. You have awesome talent and I am really trying to be constructive, maybe try drawing an average looking woman, they become captive in this world too, everyday. Anyway apart from my babbling I enjoyed looking at your gallery and please post more pictures, they are truly inspiring. Good luck to you Mart D. Chandler replies: "Ah, finally a comment in ages.First I do appreciate the fact that you enjoyed the technical skill that went into this painting, there I thank you humbly. Second as far as the setup, scene, or summary of the pic...for lack of better words let me say this as plainly as I possibly can...YOU ARE RIGHT! ding ding dingAnd now, when I post the next painting done in a fantasy setting...if ever .... It should be impressive. It is in my head anyway. Thank you for taking the time to comment in my little fauset of the woods." | |
