SciFi and Fantasy Art Nature axe by Maarten De Koster


	An axe I did once, for a centaur to hold...The centaur was a creation by Jessica Owen, who, if all goes well, should be found here -> Jessica Owen. I actually finished this quite a while ago, but forgot about it! :-s I think the blade is a bit oversized, but who cares anyway...Hope it doesn't hurt your eyes by looking at it! :-s

14 Feb 2003	Jess E Owen	Loading... Yaaaaaaaaaaaay my Axe ^_^ I'm going to draw a centaur especially to match it..uhm.. sometime when I get time. Anyway, I love the intricacy of the work on the blade, almost like stained glass in metal, and the windy feeling of the leaves moving around it.. It's perfect Maarten De Koster replies: "hehe don't rush it, I have enough patience! ^-^ Thx, I actually intended to put some glas parts in there, and the leaves are just a simple background, but they worked nicely! ^-^ Thx for the comment! ^-^"
9 Mar 2003	Kevin Smith	Loading... Oh, yes it does hurt my eyes. It is glorious beyond compare! I can't even imagine drawing something this good. It seems very ancient and beautiful yet practical just like something a centaur would use. Excellent work, man. Maarten De Koster replies: "And to say I did this in only half an hour or so, just fiddling around...glad you like it so much, but you're gonna increase my ego if you keep this up! ;-)"

25 May 2003	Tim Van Gorp	Loading... Nothing wrong with oversizing axeblades, or any other weapon for that matter (oh, stop sniggering, you hormone-overdosed teenagers!). As I was saying, axes are great, and everyone should have one just in case the whole world turns fantasy-like! Maarten De Koster replies: "Wheeeeee in that case i'm safe! I've got loads of axes! ^^ hehe"
