This is a weird sketch: an Assyrian-style deity with bird wings and elf-like ears, carrying a huge snake. I made it when I tried to practice a new drawing technique, in this case, front-facing bodies. Her dress is based on a picture of Assyrian people I looked on an encyclopedia I’ve got at home, and also the diamondback style snake (It is not a really a diamondback, it’s a constrictor). Tattoos, jewelry and hairdo are from my own... Yes, it’s a weird sketch but original, isn’t it? I liked it anyway. The final result satisfied me.
