| 1 Feb 2008 | Roger Weaver | I believe this is the Mark I know from Botswana. I am possibly on a trip to New Zealand next week - it just popped up and details are currently being worked out. I googled your name and found this contact. Where do you live? The trip is scheduled to jump around New Zealand, including Wellington, Auckland, and Rotorua. If it works out I would love to see you. I may not even be on it since I also have school scheduled later in the trip and they may want me to keep those dates, but I would love to try to hunt you up if I am on it - or return on a later trip. You can email me at rojoweaver@dejazzd.com.

I have two sketches I also want to upload.

| 13 Feb 2008 | Heidi Hecht | Hi, I saw that you asked how to upload illustrations on another shelf. Are you trying to create a separate page for your artwork? Or are you trying to add illustrations for your stories? If it’s the second, there’s a button in your Extranet that says "Upload Illustrations." Click on that and follow the instructions, and then it’s a matter of adding a snippet of code in your story file. I think its <img src="picture.jpg" /> where "picture.jpg" is the name of your picture file. I hope that helps. Mark randall fuglestad replies: "Heidi, Thanks sooo much for your comments. I have not had much on these chapters (and the others which will soon get uploaded). Over the years some have read them and simply state that they are good. Like American Idol, some of those who were always told they were good singers are TERRIBLE. Sometimes being nice and telling someone what they want to hear is really NOT nice. I want to know the truth about things I do!
Heidi, do you think that there needs to be another thread that sort of gives a window on how the king got into this predicament? You have got me thinking and I may add another thread or two which parallel each other and the main thread.
I have read the LOTR trilogy several times, and the movies. Edgar rice Burroughs was amazing how he would weave a few threads together.

| 20 Feb 2008 | Amy Ruth Schley | Oh, yeah. Whoops! | |
| 20 Feb 2008 | Heidi Hecht | It’s good that you don’t mind critiques. I’ve met people who are sooo sensitive about their precious artistic babies, or else they just wave off this nice critique I wrote up for them! I think having parallel threads can help avoid reader confusion in a lot of ways. You can reveal vital information in one thread that might seem out of place in another and also it’s not just your main characters running across some bloke who somehow manages to get himself into a predicament. Cheers and I’ll add you to my favorites so I can watch for more updates from you. | |
