Tag As FavoriteComment		A Dragon Knight is setting out to patrol the Blue Forest and deal with the intruders who are wandering about.

I have a long story in my mind and this place belongs to that. I like to write it down one day, however, it won't be anytime soon... my ideas are still fickle and elusive.

HOW THE HECK DO YOU DO IT?!?! The background is breath taking!!! The slight mist, the blue hazy forest, THE CASTLE!!! I can NEVER do castles (I'll have one in a background in my gallergy soon, and beieve me, it STINKS)! The dragons pose, the colours, everything.....Just....I could stare into this for hours. I can feel the cold misty morning! I can smell the mountains and the trees. I can touch the coblestone of the castle....this is AMAZING and should most definatley get moderator's choice!!!

Oh wow! This is amazing! I love the castle! I can never draw castles. And the blue! I love blue! The dragon is breath-taking! Oh wow. I wish I could draw like thatThank you. For the castle I referred to pictures of some nice gothic buildings in Germany, after viewing many others, Junker-Hansen Tower and Lübeck Town Hall.

And one more thing... the flags... I love the way they contrast with the rest of the scene. Despite their size, I get the feeling they're meant to be noticed, and if you have a story for this I'd love to read it.Thanks alot for your comments. Yes, the flags are meant to be noticed more this way. It's a frequently-used idea to use spots of a reddish color in a totally cold-toned picture... but I enjoy doing it anyway 2 I wish to be able to write the story one day...

I love the color schemes in all your pictures... they lend so much to the tone of the scenes protrayed. In this... in regard to your use of watercolors- all i can say is WOW The hills and the towers create very nice balance with the dragon appropriately hanging indecisive almost, on the edge of the shadow, between the two. I really like the effect. Wonderful picture.

Absolutely fantastic. What technique were you using with this drawing/painting?Thank you. it's done in a mixture of watercolors, gouaches and coloured pencils.
