	On one of our most recent trips to the north shore I began to doodle with watercolors. This is kinda the result. She's a swamp fairy

3 Aug 2003	The Creature	Loading... Nice shading effects and translucency of the wings. A very strange, very beautiful watercolor. What technique did you use to make the bubbles? They're way too big and smooth to be salt. Very peaceful and beautiful.

Watercolours... backs away in awe That's a medium I've never had the guts to work with: every brushstroke is so final you have to be good to work with them, and good you are! The flow of colours in this piece is magnificent. puts me in mind of the illustrations in classic old books of faerie tales - it has that same timeless storytale quality to it =)
