Its really good! I'm currently reading the second book, so i kinda imagine the people in the movie. Its a good pic of aragorn! Its probably how tolkien imagined him. Oh and you did a good job given that you were drawing it during math!

I like this a lot! He looks very much like Aragorn- ungroomed, shut out from the rest of the world and quite roamer. How old is he supposed to be in this picture, though?

Marie-Joëlle Bourque replies: "LOL! he sure is! When I did this picture, I was thinking of hie lonely years as a ranger, travelingalone in forests of Middle-Earth. I don't think I was thinking of a particular age for this one. One thing's sure'll do a better Aragorn sooner in watercolors. I own him that,he so cool a charater!"

Oh, yes! Estel! He looks /very/ ranger-y and how I imagined him. (Was rather dissapointed in Mortensen...is too cute to be Aragorn. *grins*) Poor dear! Not knowing the full rhyme (in English, at least). Let's see...*retrieves book* Kee, here is:

Hey, you just told Natascha that this quote was from Bilbo Baggins. Which it isn't. Did you not know that? I don't mean to be condescending or anything, but... I mean, you even used it in the title for this pic! The poem was a prophecy about Aragorn, which Gandalf quoted with his letter to Frodo. Bilbo didn't even know Aragorn!

No, don't worry 'bout that, no feeling's hurt at all ^_^ But, not having my FOTR book with me currently (some friend borrowed it), I have to insist that I do remember that, during the council of elrond, bilbo rises at some point to say that poem aloud and after, when sitting down again, saying to Frodo that it was his composition..."

great pic! u r very talented!! and it's ok bout using my imagination, i had to use it all the time when trying to picture Elessar when i was reading the books ( i read them before seeing the movies, too) i'm glad u named it All that is gold does not glitter cuz what bilbo wrote i think really suits Elessar!
