| 17 Apr 2003 | Kelli Doyle | Loading...THIS is a good horse- a really good departure from your earlier ones. Marie-Joëlle Bourque replies: "Thanks a lot Kelli! There are more horse coming up (ticket: 1276 out of 2602)! To my opinion, they will be better than this one ;-)" | |
| 26 Apr 2003 | Maya R. Hirschman | Loading...Things are improving greatly with this piece, Marie-Joelle. Here's an idea... the barrel of a horse would be visible at that angle, just a little arching ribcage behind the front legs would make this picture even better. The wings, by the way, are really terrific. I've always hated doing wings, which is why I almost never do, but you've managed to do good things with yours at a really funky angle. Well done ! Marie-Joëlle Bourque replies: "*Checks in her English dictonnary* Hum, hum...*Checks in her french horses book for complicated terms* Aaaah! I seeeee.... Well! ^_^Thanks a lot! I seriously needs tips like that for horses drawing (i just got into some equines guided tours and now I'm a little depressed "bout mines)! Thanks a lot! I made the wings at that angle because it was easier *blushes*...Couldn't do the entire thing with the feathers and all...." | |
| 26 May 2003 | Maren I. *May* Zielke | Loading...I absolutly LOVE pegasus! (your tour is great ;-)). This is so sweet. I always have troubles with the wings Marie-Joëlle Bourque replies: "Woa! My first guided tour feedback! Thanks lot! I have trouble with them too -_- " | |
| 26 May 2003 | Kara | Loading...Beautiful! Great foreshortening, muscle definition, and shading. Congrats on perfecting a dynamic pose. It might be me but the wings seem a little un-detailed compared to the detail on the reast of the peg. But that's understandable considering that's apretty difficult position to draw. Nice expression on his face too. The bridle on him hint's that maybe there's a story behind this pic. Never stop drawing! -Kara Marie-Joëlle Bourque replies: "Wow!!! Thanks alot *impressed by the winderful comment*! Indeed, the wing are...simple. It's because I have absolutely no idea of what a wing looks like. I should work on this...*ponders* Thanks again!" | |
