While I had the scanner I decided to show you the pic I'm working on. It's the famous part of 'The return of the king' where Eowyn fights against the witchking. WARNING: IT'S STILL UNFINISHED!!!

The only unfinished thing I can spot is the Witch- King is missing his pface. Eowyn with short hair is something I haven't seen before, but I guess it looks pretty good. I love the detail on this one! Especailly the Nazgul. But he looks a bit lazy.

2 Marie-Joëlle Bourque replies: "Well, first, I haven't done any background, and there's a corner of the witchking that's missing. As for his face, he'S a wraith, he doesn't have any. It clearly mentionend in the books that when she face the witchking, hie crown was floating in the air because she could see no face. As for Eowyn's short hair, well short is a relative word. I've seen shorter than that, but you're right, I did that on purpose ;-) After all, she did disguised herself in man, so cutting your your hair is the logical thing to do, am I wrong? After all, she didn't not care if it was pretty or not because she was seeking death in battle (clearly mentionned too). And because the Rohirrims has kinda long hair for men, I did her that lenght of hair. Thanks for your comment (but please, can you tell me a tip to improve my nazgul?)"

I'm sorry, I always imagined the Nazgul to be floating. Yes, I suppose you're right, butting your hair would be the logical thing to do, and the witch- king did have no face, as stated in the books. Sorry.

Beautiful, I will enjoy the final version, when do you think we will see it ? Like Caroline, and I really agree with her, even if I don't read lord of the ring, the draw is perfect.

WOW!! look at that detail! I like the way you show the nothingness (if its posable to show nothing) of the Nazgul! Im guessing it took a long time. Again, I like all the detail! at least, its more than I can do!

Love the shield and armour and hair is short- I'd never thought about it like that (despite this being my fave part of the book!). I'm just slightly worried about how her body seems to twist though- it doesn't look exactly right. I have an idea for your Nazgul, if you're willing: he doesn't have a face, that is correct, but the crown does look a tad strange just floating, so can I suggest you treat the face as though it were transparent and darw what's behind it slightly out of focus and shifted (as though you were looking through a ghost at it)? Anyway, I'm going to have a look at the rest of your gallery now because if this is anything to go by, I'm going tor eally like what I see!
