The works of popular fantasy artist, Matt Hughes, have appeared in numerous publications such Art Scene International, Dark Realms Magazine, Realms of Fantasy Magazine, Spectrum 10 & 12, White Wolf Publishing and Heavy Metal Magazine. Matt is a member of The Society of Illustrators located in New York. Matt continues to illustrate the ethereal visions of myth, goddesses, fairies, angels, demons, and warriors. His conceptual twist on Victorian themes and styles combined with spiritual or philosophical concepts have helped Matt pioneer the new art movement Gothic Art Nouveau.

Your art has its own essence with ion each page, i was astounded when i read you drew this by hand. I loved your depiction of Ophelia it was beautiful and a wonderful tribute to the moments before her death. Did you come up with the captions for your art. If so it was...undescribable.

it’s refreshing to find such sweetly detailed artists that focuses on the figures but gives it’s character enough emotions and life to spin tales around it using backgrounds, styles, poses.. they just... breathe! your truely the dream that my humble hands wish to become. keep it up and keep the magic of figure art alive!
