This one turned out pretty plain and simple. I only really did it just to draw something. It's been a while... I used this one to experiment with highlights on the face and hair. Trying different things, see what works.

I know most guys prefer the "British-turned-Asian-skintight-skimpy-costume-wearing-ninja-assasin" version of Marvel Comic's Psylocke, but the armored one was always my favorite.

Is it just me or is her pupils slightly displaced... 9 OMG! It’s crazy Psylocke! RUN! 12

Nice and clean pic, and shiny. 7 Honestly, I actually like the highlights as well as the color technique. Even if it’s scanned it I think it actually feels nicer to look at than if it had been computer colored. Can’t explain why.

Now, if I recall my Marvel correctly Psylocke was born without eyes (using her psychic powers to "see" ) but some villain named Mojo gave her artificial ones, as a "gift" I guess. She wanted to tear them out but couldn’t. I remember this because I thought an eye-less super-psychic heroine was awesome! Then they "upgraded" her. Meh.

I did a terrible job with her eyes in this piece. Faces and eyes are one of my trouble areas and when I did this it was really just practice that I decided to ink and color. Many times I’ve been tempted just to pull this one, but I feel like I need to keep myself honest and show the bad with the good.

I never heard the story about her eyes or how she was born. I know at this point she did have the bionic eyes that she got from Mojo, but I’m unfamiliar with the background.
