Tag As FavoriteComment		Working on a series of Elementals for my photography class. This is my good friend Megan. Poor girl had to sit out in the thigh deep (in places) snow. This was shot in my backyard... Blizzards just keep coming... too much snow... but at least it helped my cause here. So here's what i did to Megan for this picture: Make-up: -blue eyeshadow -silver eyeliner -silver lipstick (actually eyeliner) -silver eyeshadow as blush -silver glitter on cheekbones and brow Hair: -back-combed -glitter Clothing: -fun fur jacket (Made: cropped at the waist and dyed) -corset (Altered: lacy shirt cut in the front middle, hemmed, laced, and dyed) -skirt (Made and altered for purpose: cut on angle and dyed) -tights (the only thing I had to buy...) -jewelry (well... other things I had to buy) Photoshop: -eyes (Megan's natural eye color is dark brown/black, so I altered the eyes to look an icy blue thanks to photoshop!) There will be more Elementals to come once we find the time and places!

cool...or rather freezing - i can’t believe there is so much SNOW - where was this taken?! 22 Meagan looks cool - again, and i love the setting!

:-) Haley Oatway replies: "This was taken in my parents back yard in a city in Northern Alberta, Canada. They get a lot of snow there. Had 11 feet of of one year... my back hurts remembering the amount of shoveling I had to do..."
