At the height of the war in Heaven, a truce was called.  The elder races of pagan creatures offered to
hold a peace talk between the warring factions.  Lucifer and Michael reluctantly excepted.  Glearin the Wise set up a table and waited on the angels. Lucifer arrived first, muttering in her irritation at being made to wait.  Michael came shortly afterward.  The talks began.  I did this as part of an online collaboration contest. The coloured version is by Steph Salt  http://www.artwanted.com/imageview.cfm?ID=268896  .  We tied for first place with another great artist team.  Yipee for us!  For kicks, I may digitaly colour this in the future.  Done in graphite on 35.6cm x 43.2cm white vellum paper. It is excellent line-work and i love your choice of characters as well as their expressions 2

:-) Alison Skillin replies: "Thanks Cristina. I spent a lot of time working on their facal expressions. It was difficult because I'm not used to doing line drawing. I SO wanted to shade this in!"

I love your idea for this picture, it became so familiar to me though that I am now stuck for words? But thank you for the great partnership.

I will submit the coloured version tonight, but no doubt it will be 4 weeks before it is finally in my gallery 8
