 Their retreat covered by a blue haired mutantess with submachine gun and blade arm, the last few adventurers struggle home to fortified Pitford. With the sun setting, they know the gates of town will close and not open again until dawn, leaving the wounded team to their fate outside. Harassed by skullocks on all sides, the hard pressed heroes have the odds stacked against them.

            This Photoshop illustration was done over a pencil drawing and serves as the cover art to Pitford: Gateway to the Ruins for The Mutant Epoch tabletop role playing game.

41 William McAusland replies: "Thanks Tristine, I’ve always drawn monsters and mutants and whatnot. Always knew it had to be a career for me as well as a hobby. Now I spend my days writing and drawing for my game. Of course it took a lot of hard work and odd jobs at Starbucks, art supply stores and construction, etc, but I am finally here. Excellent sense of drama, composition and character. That Zeppelin in the background is a nice touch too.
