Patricia is a Painter. She paints in Oils, Acrylics, Watercolors and Photo Shop 6.0. (and whatever else is out there) Patricia also draws and sketches.

 

 

I was born in Dunoon, Scotland. I live in Oakland CA. Went to CalArts, studed animation but later found out I 'm a painter. So been painting every sence. I have been getting some bad remarks about my work lately from Elfwood, now to be honest, I useualy don't care what others say, but in this case it bugs me, SO For the record: Yes, I do use photos as ref, like most artist do. Yes I do some photo painting, wich is an art and take a lot of time and skill. No NOT all my work is photo painted. Most of my works are digital and non digital paintings. The reson I don't explain wich is photo painted and wich is not is because A) There is only one photo painted pic up. B)I curently don't do photo painting exept for clients C). The results look the same, and require the same skill and time weather on a photo or on a canvis (the photo does not save time and it isn't a short cut.) So with that said, if you think less of me as an artist because you THINK you see a 'Cheat' in my works, well than so be it. But Do Not write me about it. For the people who need prof, here is what you can do. Download a pic of mine and reproduce it yourself , then tell me I cheat . You should be done in 1-3 weeks.
