This is a recolored version of 'Brass Dragon'. The original was in acrylic, this version was redone in Photoshop using the .jpeg image I uploaded to Elfwood (I misplaced my original scanned file). This is much closer to the original vision I had for this image, particularly because it has a bit more depth. I think it shows the severe limitations acrylic paint has in my hands. Some people do amazing things with acrylic, and I don't really understand how.

*grins* A lovely piece of art. I love the smoothness, depth, and general feeling of this picture; it looks like it's the death of something old and wonderful, but the birth of something... else. *shrugs* I tend to see stories in things, especially at 12180 am. Great job. 2

Dude. Looks like the remains of some great gate to a castle.

It doesn't look as much like he(the dragon) is standing on the gate but more like carrying it off.

I mean no insult by this, but alot of your work seems to be wonderful comic book art, and by that I mean that it is very nice, but I would like to see just a tad more life in it. Further consider the light source and light quality, and I would adore more display or depth. You're doing great, keep working.

I love the intense water scene. It also reminds me of a scene from the movie Alice in Wonderland, which I love...soooo bonus points for that!

You just don't understand how to do fantastic things with acrylics? Well now, I don't understand how to work with acrylics, but, seeing your paintings, I really think you should not complain!
