I like this interpretation of Mother Nature; it's good to see some variation from the "lots of green and brightly coloured flowers" depiction of her. I love the boarder with the draping, and the tones of white and pale (yes, I know that "pale" is not a colour, but I couldn't find a better adjective for it) that you have used in this picture. The wreath, the flames in the background, the outfit and the items that she is holding gives connotations to "the old days". I can't help thinking either "witch" or "druid" when I see this picture (and that is in no way a bad thing). Wonderfully done! | |
