Maybe that's just the scanner, but do u prime ur canvas with gesso or something before u paint? Cuz i usually don't get that grainy look. Meagan Reid replies: "no, I do no priming. You see I'm self taught and have never had any instruction in acrylics, so I dont know a thing about priming... though I would dearly like to get the texture down a lot!
