| 4 Jan 2005 | Maria | Hi there mitch you have no idea who i am but thats not the important part. I felt terrible for your lack of comments and your friend above me is correct, most people are too lazy to comment. Perhaps its thier slooww computers that makes commenting a bore or perhaps their all just artistically impaired jerks who envy our artistic capabilities. But who really knows what goes through someone's head. If i were a more caring person i would be a phsyciotrist (lord knows i misspelled that..), but im not so im happy to be an artist. Your work reflects depth well and i love your shading. But never forget that the most important artistic ability is to have fun while doing it. Do you feel better now? Well, i hope my comment was to your liking. If i were older i would have something deep and moving to say but alas i am but half of 32 so i lack the wisdom that comes with wrinklyness. I guess its a trade off. Mitch Rogers replies: "Hehe, I never thought that wrinklyness is what gives us wisdom, but that would explain a few of my friends..." | |
| 4 Jan 2005 | Harald Lognvik | Hey there Mitch Hehe, I too know the feeling of receiving few comments - and the ones that come, come very seldom. Now, what I find peculiar is that in the early life of Elfwood, when my gallery was young, I received a lot of comments, but now, that age has taken it`s toll, I basically never receive any at all. My theory is that people have become more lazy and even more selfish than before. Too many sit around and expect comments to come flying, but they don`t bother doing any themselves. So, to get comments, one has to give some. Now, to your gallery. I really like you style and brutality, right up my alley. I also notice you are quite capable of adding background to your images, which in turn gives the drawings much more depth and realism. Anyways, there are too few drawings here, start uploading man! As one of my favorite actors once so brilliantly said, "I'll be back". Mitch Rogers replies: "Wow, that was like 4 comments in one! Thanks heaps. Everyone seems to like my style, I wish I knew how I developed it! And never fear, my new favourite piccy is uploaded and will be submitted after the mods' holiday, and then some more if I can find the precious time." | |

| 28 Apr 2006 | Naomi *OmI* Repper | Your style of art is wonderful mitch, the fact that its dark makes it all the more interesting to me as my work is very light, even when i try to do dark art it still looks ... Cute ^^. Lol!
