This is definitely one of the neater galleries of Elfwood.
Especially the way you bring the Ancient back to life.

I love your gallery! It's a very refreshing change from the usual standard here in Elfwood. I love the more old-fashioned or classical feel to your style. I'll definitely keep an eye on this one for updates. *bookmarks* 2

First and foremost I'd like to say your work on the Armana period is very inspiring.Second ,since I was a boy (I am now 40)I have had a feeling that I was there in Ancient Egpyt when the Pharoah and his Queen first looked upon the hill and decided they where going to call this new location Armana.I see this expansive scenery and thousands of followers ,poets, healers ,papyrus gatherers, pottery makers, artist all in one large group trying to capture the moment when the pharoah sets his eyes to the horizon and declares his legacy.I draw a little ( former grafitti artist) but not in the realm of african art and your art work and the fascination with the 18th dynasty has truly given me the creative spark that I need.Look forward to seeing more from you.

Sincerly, Alfred

I love ancient Egypt too!!! Although, I've never been there... So lucky you are!!! ^^ Your people and creatures are so realistic-like! And your hatching and cross hatching is wonderful! That is a skill I could never really master... But because of it your pictures have all these awesome shades and such! Yayness!
