*points at above commenter* IT IS A PHOENIX DAMNIT!!!!!!!! And of course her tribal influence is low, she's european! If a phoenix wants to look like a skwan it can! Look at unicorns! They can look like whatever they feel like! I think it's a beautimous drawing and all should bask in it's glory! *basks* *glares at above commenter*

I love it. It looks much like the asian phoenixes, instead of the traditional western styles. I'd love a tattoo like that, but neither me nor my husband can stand needles long enough. ^_^;

I love the feathers and think the tribal tattoo style fits very nicely, but I do think the head looks more like a soft-stylized dragon than a bird's (unless the bird is a stork), and the body's curvature makes it appear that it was designed to float on a watery surface like a waterfowl rather than a firebird often pictured in flight.

Don't take this the wrong way. I love the picture, I just think it's proper to offer constructive criticism.

:-) Meg Wireman replies: "I'm not taking it the wrong way. ^_^ I appreciate the constructive criticism. Yes, it does look floaty. ^_^ Oops? Oh well. This was done awhile ago, maybe I'll try to re-do it one day. Thanks so much for stopping by, I appreciate it! ^_^"

I think this is a beautiful PHOENIX! and it bothers me that somebody would call it a swan, but whatever.

I WOULD LOVE to have a tattoo like that on my back. it just looks so graceful.

keep up the AWESOME work with those tattoos 2

Freaking awesome ****!!!! I’ve been looking for some inspiration for a "tribalized" phoenix to go along my lover back. I like the stylization, although it’s a little soft for what I want. Regardless of my opinion...ROCK THE **** ON!
