SciFi and Fantasy Art Divine Gothic by Megon Noel ´Emoni´ Haydes

This is a male angel I call Divine Gothic. He’s made mostly from air dry clay, but I switched to super sculpey for the hands cuz it was hard to get them the way I wanted them with air dry. He has blue glass eyes. The rock he’s sitting on was formed with air dry clay also and the rock texture was from a textured spray paint. This piece was insanely hard cuz air dry clay can't hold weight until it’s dry (Then it’s like a rock). So this guy was literally being crushed under the weight of his own wings. Plus his wings kept falling off. Finally I had to break out the hair dryer. The hair dryer turned out to be the best way to go, after that he stopped falling apart and everything turned out how I wanted and he’s really solid now.
