Tighe is a Scottish male Elf, 15 inches tall. He is made of Polymer clay. He wears a black nylon bandana and two gold colored hoop earrings in each ear. He wears a brown shirt, black pants, black nylon socks and a black nylon turtle neck. Over this he wears a red plaid shirt. He also wears a hand beaded red & black necklace and a hand beaded tortoise shell belt. Tighe is an original creation made without the use of any molds. Tighe is colored with a variety of paints (both oil and water based), inks, and powders. His eyes are hand painted a beautiful shade of forest green. Tighe has large hands over which he wears fingerless gloves (made of clay) to look like worn leather.

heh, as a lot of people have noticed, It looks like you have a lot of inspiration from Brian Froud's drawings (but you've embezzeled it with your own skills and styles, and created something REALLY unique 12 ) And the way you've made them all, feels very much like walking through a scandanavian Fairy land, and I'm a sucker for that kind of stuff 12 Anyhow, this guy is so, so SO obviously been made with a lot of love and devotion! Have you ever considered making any of these little guys to sell? They would be SO popular!!

:-) Megon Noel 'Emoni' Haydes replies: "You give the best compliments! A Scandinavian Faerieland ..... wow, what a great thing to say! Yes Wendy & Brian Froud are my favorite artists, I learned to do what I do by watching them (and others) do it so well. I did put a lot into Tighe, he is one of my absolute favorites. As for selling them; funny you should say that, as I just sold my first one yesterday (Christmas Eve) Hooray! It was Holly Faerie ..... she's here in my gallery somewhere. Yeah, most of my sculptures are for sale either through my web site (on my bio), or on ebay under searchword: megonnoel. I'm so glad you could stop by and leave such a great comment, you are very nice to do that! Merry Christmas! ~*~Megg~*~"
