Don't be afraid to draw males, you need to learn sometime. I love Esmeralda. Her clothing almost seems perfectly moulded to her body, and the colours are just right. I think that the "four elements" idea is a great way to start drawing, and showing others what you can do. Maybe you should continue in that direction for a while?
