I love that song, we did it in Choir, you have captured it well, and in such lovely lines. You do great work for it being on the computer...

This picture is very beautiful and moving. There is a song with kyrie eleison in it, it is one of my favourite songs, but I never knew wot it meant. thanx.

What a great picture, but if I’m not mistaken Kyrie Eleison Is a Greek word which means lord have mercy in Greek, not in Latin. Maybe I know Latin pretty well and maybe your correct but I know for a fact that it means Lord Have mercy in Greek.(for I speak it fluently) It also originates form an ancient Greek word, but just like English the dialect changed steadily overtime. Thusly making the word in Modern Greek now Kyrie Eleison.

Kyrie Eleison, in response to the person who read it as greek, I'm also 90% sure is latin...but it may only be that "special" breed of Catholic Latin, for I've sang it who-knows how many times in mass.
(Not that I doubt it's Greek-ness at all)
This is gorgeous. I am in love with the angel/mother's pose. The babe is a bit thin, but i am just in love with all of it

Kyrie Eleison... it is a wonderful picture, the emotion in it is wonderful...
However, I am afraid that it is not latin, it is indeed Ancient Greek. Church latin nicked it from the bible (which was originally written in Greek), and shoved it into their requiem masses.
From Kyrios - Lord and Eleison (can't remember the proper ending for that but oh well) which is have mercy obviously.
With what authority do I say that? Well I am studying a university degree which centres around Ancient Greek and Latin.

Wow! I love that pic. It's my favourite. Really good idea. ^_^
(you're right, kyrie eleison is sometimes used in latin prayers but isn't latin, it's greek

Anonymous, why do you always feel the need to show this great intelligence you claim to have . all i ever see you doing on here is telling people how they are wrong, wrong in style, wrong in shading, wrong in Greek and Latin , wrong for showing to much boob, or butt. it is just insane how much i hear you down people and their art , art is what the artist sees it is up to us to try to understand the meaning , try shutting your mouth sometimes and simply enjoy the art in front of you

Oh, so sad and beautiful. Why is it that sadness is often beautiful...yet only when we are not the ones caught in it? Ah, this picture makes me want to cry. Seriously. Then again, I'm pregnant and horribly emotional. *wipes away a tear* I sooo want to snuggle the little one and keep him or her safe and loved.
