I agree with the comment about the red taking away the effect, but i think the torso is perfectly suited to the pic! I love it!

*hmms* I agree with all the comments above in regard to arch of the back and the overall neatness... and I now feel inclined to comment on a neatness that probably only my insane mind can observe. Namely, the white remnanes of the woman's garb seem to be her form shrunken and distorted a tiny bit, and then of course reversed. But the cloth falling down her breast is her head and hair, and the arm strap is her arm, reaching upwards in... supplication? or something....

I really like this picture. It is one of those rare pictures that makes a writer (me) want to tell the story of the woman. She seems to have a good heart, at least that's what I hear from it. Very impressive. I truly enjoy your art and I hope you continue to move us with more.

This is a beautiful picture! The color attracted me, and the intensity of emotion kept me there. Fabulous!!

I don't agree that the red in the background takes away from the effect. Red denotes anger, blue denotes loneliness and depression. Put the two together and you have an electricity so highly charged that body and soul are thrown into a mentality quite unlike the previous, but energetic and anxious at the same time.
Consider the emotions at work once you've been bitten and turned into the "spawn of the damed!"
Exciting it might be from this side of it. Yet how many of us would actually enjoy murdering countless people simply to remain...dead.
No...I think the red belongs in the background.

Hmmmm....do I really want to be a Vampire? Amazing what deep thoughts bring out of us sometimes.

By the way, I love your Vampire series. Will we be seeing more?

Nice coloring! Excellently done, it tells a lot. Art pieces that also tell a story are the best ones.
