Melissa Goese-Goble

Melissa is a graphic artist from Alaska. Fantasy has always been a true love.

I'm lucky. I draw pretty much everyday, if I don't run into *blocks*, which are a major frustration to any artist. I've always drawn fantasy. I started when I was old enough to hold a pencil. A need inside. I don't always draw things I like. Sometimes when I draw I don't even feel like I did it...I feel like somehow it just came through me. I rarely know in advance what will come out. Perhaps a general 'feeling' of sorts but never a visual of the finished piece. I work with a pressure sensitive pen on a Wacom tablet. My digital paintings are quite a bit different than the work I do on paper. Most of what I will put in here will be digital. In every new piece I learn something new. I find something I like and I suppose I have my own style though I enjoy variation. Thanks for looking at my work. I'm pleased to be included in this gallery and appreciate all the hard work Mr. Abrahamsson puts in here. *smile*
