The warrior is chilled to the bone,
Nervous even.
She ties her hair back
And prepares to fight.
Her armor is reinforced
With powerful rock, not steel.
Her sword is a moonbeam,
And she holds stars to throw.
With a fearful eye she turns
To gaze upon her foe.
Bright armor flashing,
A shield of flame firm in grasp,
Her enemy prepares to leap.
Sword clashes on shield,
Battle cries tear the air,
And it appears she is winning.
An unexpected blow!
The warrior is down!
Ultimately her foe is stronger.
She is beaten.
She throws down her glove
And is swept into darkness.
Is this the end?
Nay say I!
But she will fight many more battles,
And this shall remain her fate forevermore.
