But the right wing looks a little off. The angle that it's at is funny.
Besides that I love it | |

| 7 Apr 2006 | Scott t McCruden | Loading...Hait to be the one to say so, but the shoulder is to low. The clavical(calor ) bone is to low and the arm schould be alittel thinker. I think also that the lighting seem to be alittel off; if the light is hiting her face that way her uper chest would also be light. The middel of her chest where it rases up, woudl have more light on that area. Her hair would aslo have some highlight on the right side if you looking at the painting ; our the girl left side. How ever i do like this painting keep up the good work. Sarah Cloutier replies: "You may be right about thickness of her arm. I was working from a photo that ended a little below the shoulder. I'm pretty sure the lighting of her chest is right, though. I'm sorry of the twist of her neck and body didn't come across clearly. The lack of highlights was a deliberate stylization; again, sorry that wasn't clear. In the end, though, keep in mind that all women have different bodies, even the young attractive ones. A 'too-low' collarbone in this case is actually just what was there.Thank you for the thoughtful comment, I'm glad you enjoyed this piece." | |
