Goded by my muse, who likes pretty shiny things, I'm doing a series of women with different personalities, birds, and types of beauty.  The birds are something like a familiar and more like the 'daemons' of the Golden Compass series; an external 'shape' of soul.
Inked by hand, computer colored.
Personally, I think her sleeve is set much to high, and her face has no personality.   I must fix that in later versions!  If you see anything else I could improve, please let me know.

Nonsense! I think it's marvelous! I'll be shocked if it doesn't get a moderators choice award!

sorry to disagre with you about the "no personality face" I think whe looks right. But you're the creator and is your baby, so feel free of changing it. The colors are lovely, and I think you did a wonedrful compositional job. I get attracted to your gallery over and over again, and then I read the name and is like "of course I liked it, it was Sarah!".

Congratulations!

I LOVE this! The choice of color is especially gorgeous, but everything about it is wonderful! The premise is great, and the design is beautiful!

Very beautiful. I like the mix of realistic and stylized drawing. The dress is stunning...

very beautiful, but I think where the sleeve connects to the bodice is a bit skinny; it looks like it would cut uncomfortably into her armpit.
For personality, I've always thought cardinals are rather vain and egotistical. After all, their call is "pretty, pretty, pretty, pretty." (Really!) But, of course, the personality you want to show is up to you! The cardinal shown here is very good I think. ^.^

It's so beautiful. One of my favourites. I love the "Art Nouveau" style and the colours. Great work.

i like it, it's different than what I'm used to seeing on your gallery. i have heard of that book, it seems good, one of my friends is obsessed with it. i like the daemon thing, i'm writing a book where the elves have "guardian" animals, but it's basically the same idea. i'm hoping on becoming a member, mabye next time i comment i will be. sorry my comment is so long, but i love your work, it's very good. where did u learn?
