SciFi and Fantasy Art Element of Water by Sarah Cloutier

This one's another to watch out for - nurturer of civilizations and destroyer of cities. You could never live without her, but she doesn't care about that. She'll foster anything from whales to mosquitoes.

She can be as suddenly nasty as an undertow or as steady as the tides - predictable as water running downhill. In fact, it's not that she's unpredictable that's the problem, it's just that her motives are utterly transparent.

She's strong, she's silent, she's cold - she'll put the damper on a festive occasion, but hey, she's also good for breaking up a fight.

Gorgeous, independent, self-involved - she gets a lot of bad stuff thrown at her, but she stays her own woman for all that. She can afford to outwait us all.

22 May 2005	Evergreen	Loading... She is beautiful. Good job on capturing the fluidity of her hair. The colors are truly water-like. I, aslo, like the fact that she doe not have a tail like most artists' versions of water elements. Yet her hair almost seems like her mermaid's tail.

I suspect much of this comes from your unique style, but your incredible talent (as I have seen in the rest of your gallery) can certainly be ascribed as much of the credit. You amaze me.
