The Angel guards his love in the bay of judgement, praying that she will rise with him to heaven instead of being cast to the rocks that will batter her body for her sins for all of eternity.

Wow.....this piece made me cry.....its so symbolic, and it really touches my heart. You sure do have a way with emotions....I can tell you are a very deep person by the way you put so much emotion into your art. I love this piece. May i print it out and put it on my wall?

:-) Meredith M. French replies: "Thankies for the kind comment. Absolutely you can print it out and put it on your wall. Anyone can do that as long as they promise not to put their name on it or sell it. This is my favorite piece, I'm glad you like it. 2"

Wow, Mer. I've seen this picture a few times, and I cannot get over it. No comment does this picture justice, it is such a beautiful piece. It's easy to see just how much work you put into this, it is truly a wonderful work of art.

Though I am no artist, this work could be the descriptive piece to a poem I wrote - where one guards against the ills of the world, trying to hold his love and protect her from the woes of the world. As I believe this to be the one work that drives its meaning furthest into my heart, I must state that I am caught by the emotion invested into this piece. You, my lady, have a talent that allows you to depict what you feel...through the gift of illustration. I am honored to know you personally, Meredith.

:-) Meredith M. French replies: "That poem does fit to this piece quite nicely. I think that artwork needs to revolve around emotion, otherwise it doesn't mean anything. I try to convey some form of emotion that I feel into all of my pieces. This gives the piece a closer connection to me and I think it allows other people to connect as well. Thanks for stopping by. 2"

The sadness and truth of this picture that they both could go to hell for their love, or she could end up there by herself for daring to love an angel. Or he could end up for daring to love her.
Love hurts all the time as it blind as it deceitfull.
