You are now a lot cooler than I had originaly guessed. Tea? Lord. That's pretty darn impressive. (Watch out, I just might become "your" stalker!)

:-) Randy ''taffy''Linbourn replies: "lol, ,i had no choice really i was in work and had no paints so i used tea instead, i still use tea for the skin tones on most my work because it's about the right colour, cheers Dess' ;0)"

Well i have used tea for staining maps before , but painting with it, that's great, i guess it would behave like a watercolour. The city is superb,it looks ancient and overcrowded, the composition is excellant and you've reall nailed the perspective. Cityscape yet another thing i can't do.

More tea work please!!

:-) Randy ''taffy''Linbourn replies: "that's how i started out ,doing "old maps", i use tea as a base coat for all my skin tones and while it's wet put in the shadow and highlight and try and blend it ....(sometimes i'm even succssesful .lol)......thanks for the wonderful comment on my art Dave ,cheers;0)"

I like it... the technic and all that blah blah blah...
What i really liked about it is that the chinese tea influence is clearlly shown on the bamboo shapes of some of the buildings.

Hmm, painting with tea, never thought of that. Great way to pass the time though. Love the parchment look it creates though!

57 Randy ''taffy''Linbourn replies: "thanks Ramona,i tried doing it with coffee as well but it went all sticky.............but,look on the bright side?,come the summer if i hang it up i've got a hell of a natty fly catcher .lol ;0)"

This one is my favorite! I love the color that the tea makes. It reminds me of Tolken. 2
