wow, very good stuff! I'm impressed, and eager to see more. I like your use of color, it seems to add to everything rather than distract from it. Anime is an art, despite what nose-in-the-air westerners think, and you've got it down tap. Your non-anime is very good too, though, and I'd love to see more of it. Have you ever considered illustrating 12

:-) Myranda Aldridge replies: "Hahaha, thanks again, Chris. Yups, anime is very fun to mess around with...But I am hoping to slowly shift into another style...maybe like the two Aredhel pictures. Not sure yet though, so who knows? I have a few anime pics I need to scan in, but must hook up mah stuff to do so first. Phwee."

:-) Myranda Aldridge replies: "Uhm...I use various online reference dictionaries using Tolkien Elvish, both Quenyan and Sindarin...also look into the Silmarillion fr a bit of help. Rather fun, matching things together, really. "

Yeek! Only *NOW* do I notice that the pic I colored is one you've actually since taken down... It's the new one you did of Mira's Farewell.

I think it was called "Bloody Mira?" (not to be confused with a popular alcoholic beverage of similar name...)

Go ahead and send me the pretty new colored pic of the Bloody Mira. ^^ I'd love to see what you've done with it!! I'm trying to gear up and update this site soon, to add a few random sketches I did while at the SCA Gulf War, so I'll probably have the newly fixed six fingered Ran pic up with that as well. ^.^ You are such a goddess.... -luffluffs on-"

I hate to sound like a tease, but I actually have another picture of yours that I've colored and have been wanting to send you. But unfortunately... the computer it's currently stored on burned out the floppy disk drive, doesn't have a modem for net access, and lacks a CD burner, so I have no way to get it sent. ~growls~ I even made it into an animation to show the coloring process... -.-'
