"Elemental Series: Water Unicorn" by Melissa E. Rogers

Long awaited second in the series. Wow, I have made more progress in this series than ever. Same as before, Prismacolor pencils on white paper, limited palette of violet blue, green and silver, with a little magenta for interest.

Originally I was going to make her solid colored, but then I thought dapples are so reminiscent of water. For the record, dapples really aren't that difficult to color or to shade, its highlighting and making it look wet that's the problem. The pool didn't come out the way I intended, but it still looks cool. The waterfall and the rocks in the background were a consistant source of irritation, which should explain why they look like I hurried through them.
