I wanted to do a body study of a female from behind, without a model, just for kicks. Started out human, but the wings added themselves on a whim. By the time I was completely finished and to my absolute amazment I'd found that I'd done crosshatch shading for the first time since I was forced to in basic high school art years ago. And I actually liked the result too. Hmmm. Well, I also tried to draw a male fairy from behind in the same style as well, but those pesky male fairies aren't very cooperative... maybe I'll try again later.

Very nice anatomy you built up here

Really spiffing shading, and great anatomy - I just have one beef. Her bumcheeks are too identical. As she has her weight on her right leg, the left bum is slightly lower - you've got that pretty much perfect - but the shading is too equal. I think you need a touch more shading on the left bum to make the lower part of it recede more and follow the line of her leg. Otherwise it looks as though she's pressed up against a pane of glass.
But don't get me wrong, it's a very nice bum. 2

I hate crosshatching... I hope I can get used to doing it in the same way! You do such a lovely job for forcing it on yourself, even in your other pics.

Amazing crosshatching, I never have the patience to shade my pictures at all. I think maybe the knees are a little bit too far down on the leg? But... overall, just... amazing...

Your grasp of anatomy is crzy good! I wish that I could do that. But it's hard with all those naysayers who say you have to be a guy or a lesbien to draw naked women (which is NOT! true)
Go you!

Very nice drawing. Especially since you weren't using a model. The calves seem a bit squashed, which is the only bit of criticism I could come up with.
