Well, here's my first try at Computer coloring a picture. Geez, I REALLY need a Wacom tablet! I used Photopshop 5.5, mostly airbrush, dodge and burn tools. I know its pretty boring...er, simplistic, but I think this picture would look odd with a lot of color. I'd appreciate your suggestions so my next try will be more exciting! Please??

It's a good picture..

If you were looking to redo it, I would say make the front two legs more bended (like the back ones). Also the back is too straight of a line compared to the curve of the back legs and hindquarters.

I like it. (That being the most illuminating comment in the history of the known world, no?) It looks very nearly heraldic, the curve of the tail is just neat, and I at least think the straight back is pretty nifty. I think that the problem might not be that the forelegs are locked, but that it position in which they are locked looks fairly untenable. If you moved them both a little more foreward, they might do a little better - the farthest one a little further foreward on the chest, the near leg swivelled more foreward, with more evidence of a knee.

I luv this guy. I love how he's more like one of the old dinosaur-type horses. Y'know- like those tiny little pre-horse creatures. I would imagine this guy as being about the size of a small deer. And if he was alive today, I would recon he'd be closer in relation to deer than to horses (kind of like how Panda's are closer to Raccoons than Bears).

I also like that he looks a bit like the unicorns on the Queen's (of England) shield. Only those ones are rearing up- but similar legs, tail, etc.

Coolness!

Darn people have already said the heraldic thing. That was going to be my comment.... Okay I'm going to have to go for the more low brow comment.... Aw look at his ickle pink dosey!

More exciting? How could this get more exciting? It's perfect the way it is.

I think this is great for using a mouse! I LOVE THE TAIL!

Art Nouvar lookin' *sp? yaaaaah* This would be perfect for a stained glass window! Eather as part of a larger picture or with just any old back ground. Just the way the dark, yet delicat lines trace every thing, and the very faint shading on details... nice. *grins*

I would try adding a background...very good though.

pretty cool...just, it looks a bit tipsy, like its about to trip and fall on it’s face... 22

It really is a good picture, even though it looks like the unicorn is out of balance. Furthermore, the eye looks pretty scary. Nice work, though.
