I'm gunna do this whole 'Bio' thingy the easy way for now because I have too much to do and not enough hours in the day. I'll come back and rewrite this all cool and professionally later. Name: Merryl Jensen (the artist formerly known as Merryl 'Raven' Jensen has recently opted to grow up and edit out the latter nickname.) Age: 17 Sex: F Location: Sunny So Cal (southern california for those of you who don't speak surfer like everyone else here) Things I Like: Anything Horses, My horse Eddy, the ocean, dragons, Ren Faire, swimming, waterpolo, surfing, my friends, Drawing painting and being creative(of course) and cool pleople who leave nice comments on my website! ^.^ Things I Don't Like: Worms, heights, school, traffic, oil paints, and mean people. What's up with my Art?: My favorite subject is horses. Horses are what I'm most comfortable drawing. However, I've been told I need to move out of my comfort zone and work on other things. Most of the artwork in this gallery is the result of me steping out of that safezone and broadening my horizons. I'm most comfortable working with Acrylic paints, chalk pastels, colored pencils, and Clay. I love ceramics. I hope to post more of my 3d art very soon. Thanks for looking!! Enjoy!

I really like your gallery; the warhorse and the grieving centaur are great! What also caught my eye is that you're neither insane nor raise Chinchillas--lol 2 I like that. Artists should not be ashamed for NOT being insane! 14 (Or is it cool to be?)

sheesh... I can't see any reason to move out of your comfort zone, although everything you draw is quite breathtaking.
You do truly draw spectacular horses, and if it is what you love to draw, then what is wrong with focusing on that!? Besides, you have a wonderful knack for taking the horse and turning it fantastical =)
