My first Full Metal Alchemist fanart, and I can't say I'm that disappointed in this. Al was one of the characters that really made an impression on me during the first eps. And in the newer eps I felt so sorry for him. He's a special character with a very special problem, and I do hope it turns out for the better for him. Half of the series is done... heh. Anyway, I wanted to draw Al and one of the emotions I figure he has. And I had to add the light outline of his former human self. Metal texture is fun and challenging to do, as was the rain. I tried a new technique on this pic in which I shaded the pic before scanning it, then I used pencil shading instead of shading with the airbrush in Photoshop. Pencil drawing coloured in Photoshop. Effects added. Alphonse Elric belongs to the maker of Full Metal Alchemist, the pic is mine.

I fell asleep on one part but when i first saw al...OMFG! al had his body back with a ponytail and all! i thought he was edward for a moment till i recognized his voice. GO AL!!!! um, btw, i luv the pic.
