| 7 Jun 2001 | John Teall | Loading...i generaly tend to look something like this when i wake up (only smaller) - there were a couple of guys in the water department on the railroad who had to crawl under the company houses to unthaw the pipes in the winter who were about the size you describe ... ~ | |
| 17 Jun 2001 | K. L. Gaffney | Loading...Yeah, I've been back to look at this one a couple of times. I really do like that pose, the expression on his face--sheer canine outrage. I would opt for using watercolors or an acrylic wash instead of the pencils for coloring though, it would set off your your wonderfully detailed inking a lot better. How do People always get to the thought I´m inking my Stuff? Well, this one isn´t even finished yet. Actually I tryed inking and truth to be told I was fairly good at it. (see the Dark Angel) but I do not like it much. I like working with soft Pencils to accomblish many different shadings much better. | |
| 16 Dec 2001 | Diedra Rater | Loading...Inked, and this would fit perfectly into a comic book. But out of curiousity, why exactly would such a blatantly ferocious creature with such natural fighting ability (razor teeth, possibly canine fangs, immense strength, and claws) need to use what appears to be man-made artifacts in order to cause destruction on another living entity? I'd sooner imagine a lion with a blade attatched to his tail via tape and glue. ~shrugs~ Just a thought. | |
| 22 Jul 2003 | Cavan | Loading...I like this one a lot. Out of all your pics its the only one i have a comment on.
My question is this though.. you've obviously shined those blades to make them appear silver. Of course the only way to HOLD silver and be a were is to have them be klaives, magically treated from burning the flesh of the holder.
Heres my question, no matter HOW good this guy is in combat, who in their RIGHT MIND would give a BONE GNAWER two klaives?
These guys ARE the hobos of the werewolf world, getting the crap end of the stick from everyone.
Then again, maybe they ARE just steel. But why use them, when claws are even better?
I'm not really asking to pick on ya, just to get an idea of the characters background, why hes so special. Fill me in on it, cuz I'd really like to know.
| 24 Aug 2004 | Anonymous | Loading...Besides, the Bone Gnawers are awesome. And they are allowed to have klaives. They may not be considered a high tribe, but they're still a tribe. Heck, even ratkin have klaives. | |
| 24 Aug 2004 | Anonymous | Loading...Why would a werewolf use weapons?
A staff (you know, a big stick) gives plus traits and does 2 bashing. Not so great when you consider claws do 2 agg. But instead of 14 phys traits, the stick makes it so you can call 16 which equals a better chance to hit your target. I've never seen the stats for a klaive, but from some of the things I've heard, they can be pretty sick. Waaaaaay better than just a piddley shaft of wood.
| 4 Oct 2004 | Firewalker | Loading...Yep, he looks more like a Ratkin then like a Garou. But....Oh sorry it´s a Bone Gnawer, not a great difference.

| 20 Aug 2005 | Alley-Fang | Loading...You go brother, take those two shiny silver blades and let the foes of rat feel the gnawers wrath! well, unless they outnumber or out power you that is...(in which case I'm sure you'll find many fenris, red talon or silver fangs to do the job, then you can just scavenge wathever's left...of them)
