| 4 Apr 2003 | Christopher | Loading...This is a very nice gallery. I am hoping to get my pictures up as well. I have a question. Where do you get the ideas to draw these things? Well over all a VERY nice gallery. Keep up the good work. | |
| 4 Apr 2003 | F. Drebes | Loading...Yes, you are a talented young lady. Not only the drawings here , but also the special art gifts you have given me over time, such as the Montana cowboy. All these creations testifies to your outstanding ability. Shannon E. Meyer replies: "Oh, now you're just making me blush, "F. Drebes."" | |
| 14 Apr 2003 | Alice 'Serpentine Fire' Raven | Loading...Hey - great gallery! I like the knight pictures, although it would be cool if they had a backround (I can never do backrounds) and the other coloured pictures are really cool as well ^^ Keep up the good work ^~ | |
| 15 Sep 2003 | Sarah 'Nummy' Taylor | Loading...Thanks for dropping by my gallery Appreciate all the comments and suggestions! I enjoyed looking through your work. Alot of it reminds me of things I want to have made into prints and hang around my office space (that's a good thing!). | |
| 4 Nov 2003 | Harold K. Wilkes | Loading...Shannon, I have always read and loved fantasy and mythology and I like your stuff. Maybe when I get rich....
I know this is not what your page is for but I have a signed "Artists Proof" by Joanne Merrill dated 1964. It is an illustration (I think) for a story called Harlequin. It's black & white, about 8x12. There's a second one of a tree in the wind on a rocky hilltop.
Do you know of any way I can research these, find out whether I'm right or wrong, find an organization to donate them to? Oh, and find out their value too?
Any help at all will be greatly appreciated. Thanks and keep up the good work. | |
| 10 Feb 2004 | Madison Dusome | Loading...Your colouring is astonishing (I espcially like the art you've done on black paper: "Elf Warrior" and "Captain of the Guard"), and your pencil work is equally so. Keep up the unbelievable art, I'll be expecting more next time I visit! /mads Shannon E. Meyer replies: "Thanks! I will admit, colored pencil on black paper is one of my favorite mediums (in other words, you can be sure there'll be more in the future). There are a couple more pieces on my personal page, too." | |
