	I got a bit bored of all the cutesy mermaids lying around, so am doing a series of them that I can relate to a bit more. I always thought of them as beautiful but scary, mysterious things, and the depths of the ocean is a pretty creepy place.. So expect a load more of these, in different styles.

3 Jul 2004	Elina Orn	Loading... I love the idea! After all, if creatures living in the deep oceans are said to be frightening in appearance, why would mermaids be cute and pretty - by our standards? I would picture them, as you so well put it, beautiful in a more dark and mysterious way. The concept is great, and so is the picture. Keep up the good work!
