My last witch illustration before Halloween of 2005.  This piece was fun, done in watercolors and ink on hot press watercolor paper.  Size is 9 x 12

WOW! Another brill pic.

Last halloween I watched this kinda odd tv program...I loved it but it was still odd...pumpkin moon. It reminds me of that.

I just love the stars and moons on the clothes, and the colours of her skirt, wow... There's something odd about her hat under the umbrella though, like that would not fit together like that, see what i mean?

Never mind, THAT cat is my dream cat and the black cats are what I want secound most! I guess great minds think alike!

I adore the way that you portray witches. Most artist try to make them look scary, or threatening, or completely harmless. Yours look powerful, but nice. I also like the fact that you put them in bright colors and I love their hats!

Zimmy- leave the 11-year old girl alone. Just because she likes art and gets very enthusiastic about it doesn't mean that she is obsessed or scary.

Great job Molly!

BLATANT SARCASM ok...i just hope and pray that obsessive compulsive 11-year-old girl doesnt come to my house and beat me up for criticising ur art (BLATANT SARCASM ENDED)...btw...that 11-year-old girl seems a little OBSESSED and SCARY ...dont get me wrong...they are amazing watercolors (never got that technique right myself...) but i think the hands are a leeetle small. If thats the way you intended it to be, then just totally disregard this comment. Good job with ur paintings! I'm proud to say that your mod's choice is one of the ONLY good ones ive EVER seen in my LIFE. Congrats!

:-) Molly Harrison replies: "Yeah, hands are NOT my strong point, as I mentioned on another piece. I guess because they looked relatively accurate, I forgot to check the size2. I am trying to get more references because I can't stand when I get held up on technical aspects (like hands). It takes away from the joy, but then again, when you get it right, it makes it that much better to look at. I'm trying to take more time with most of my pieces- I usually find I get going too fast. Thanks for going easy on your critique! 2 "

whoot, patient cat. my cat would slit me from stem to stern rather than end up on the wrong end of a leash. LOVE the picture (and that cat 1)
