Done in 2009, 'Protector' was rendered in watercolors and ink on 300lb watercolor paper.

he reminds me of Orma shells, or nacre - awesome colour blending, i don’t know how you manage it.....1
the little sleeping faery is so sweet too, i love the idea of the contrast in sizes, makes her seem more vulnerable and the dragon so much more powerful and protective - sweet!
